Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's local and wide-area network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software technical issues for federal staff and stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor network security protocols to protect sensitive government data and systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize IT resources.
- Provide technical support and training to users across various departments.
- Assist in the procurement and deployment of new hardware, software, and cloud services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT systems administration or technical support.
- Familiarity with Federal IT security standards and compliance regulations (e.g., FISMA).
- Proficiency with networking protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible for a government security clearance.
