The Role:
You will be responsible for the end-to-life cycle of IT systems, ensuring compliance with federal standards, and providing technical support to internal stakeholders. If you are a self-starter with a strong background in network administration and security compliance, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA regulations.
- Provide tier-3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex system issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform software updates and patch management.
- Document technical processes and prepare reports for government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable solutions.
- Respond to incidents and outages with a focus on minimizing downtime and data loss.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Active or ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) or Secret security clearance.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or government contracting IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, virtualization (VMware), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
