Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend operations.
- Manage and maintain state-owned devices, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
- Respond to help desk tickets and user inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with the week-day IT team to ensure seamless continuity of services.
- Perform regular system backups and monitor server health to prevent downtime.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ are highly desirable.
- Proven experience in technical support, help desk, or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts and holidays as required.
