Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards (FISMA).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal stakeholders and federal agencies.
- Configure and maintain VPNs, firewalls, and access control systems.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and changes for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy IT systems.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery drills.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and virtualization.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (DFARS) and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or GS-12 equivalent experience).
