Responsibilities
- Manage Federal Infrastructure: Oversee and maintain critical IT systems and networks during weekend operations to ensure zero downtime.
- Technical Support: Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal personnel and external stakeholders.
- Security Compliance: Adhere strictly to NIST, FISMA, and other federal security protocols while managing sensitive data.
- System Monitoring: Conduct routine health checks, log analysis, and performance tuning for federal applications.
- Incident Response: Diagnose and resolve IT incidents and service outages with urgency and precision.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all system activities, incidents, and maintenance performed during the weekend shift.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the on-call team during the week to ensure seamless handovers.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or federal government environments.
- Schedule: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and remote connectivity tools.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to document complex technical issues clearly.
