Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to federal employees, focusing on hardware and software troubleshooting during weekend operations.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, scanners, and network peripherals.
- Monitor and manage federal server infrastructure and ensure data integrity during off-hours shifts.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve network connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine security audits and ensure compliance with federal information security standards (FISMA).
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the IT Service Management database.
- Collaborate with on-site teams during handover periods to ensure seamless service continuity.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required by the government contract.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced federal environment.
