Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to federal employees, focusing on hardware and software troubleshooting during weekend operations.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, printers, scanners, and network peripherals.
  • Monitor and manage federal server infrastructure and ensure data integrity during off-hours shifts.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and resolve network connectivity issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine security audits and ensure compliance with federal information security standards (FISMA).
  • Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the IT Service Management database.
  • Collaborate with on-site teams during handover periods to ensure seamless service continuity.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support, help desk, or network administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required by the government contract.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced federal environment.
