Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 and tier 3 technical support for federal hardware and software systems during weekend shifts.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot critical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime for government clients.
- Conduct security audits and compliance checks in adherence to Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and system backups on weekends.
- Document all technical incidents, resolutions, and changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with on-call support teams during high-impact incidents.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or network administration.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
