Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT infrastructure and networks during off-peak hours.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security hardening to comply with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA).
- Investigate and resolve technical tickets and service requests submitted by federal staff.
- Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance with agency protocols.
- Document all maintenance activities and system changes in the Federal Service Automation (FSA) system.
- Collaborate with on-site IT teams during transition periods to ensure seamless continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; OR 3 years of specialized IT experience.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust background clearance.
- Experience: Proven experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting.
- Compliance: Must adhere to federal travel and ethics regulations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and rotating holidays.
