Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support (Tier 2/3) to federal agency personnel, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- Configure, deploy, and manage end-user devices, including laptops, smartphones, and peripherals, ensuring full compliance with federal IT security standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN), ensuring high availability and performance.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in the CMDB and ticketing systems.
- Conduct security awareness training and ensure users adhere to NIST compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and enhance the user experience.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship required (for federal contract eligibility and background clearance).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Systems Administration.
- Active Top Secret or Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Linux operating systems.
- Comptia Security+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
