Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for federal agency hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain remote desktop environments and Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) ensuring secure connectivity.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and resolve network incidents to minimize downtime.
- Configure and deploy workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices in compliance with federal security standards (NIST).
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT service delivery and user experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent military/technical experience).
- Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and VPN protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
