Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for federal stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Generate comprehensive reports and statistical summaries for congressional briefings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal performance metrics
- Stay current on emerging data technologies and federal data governance policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal/government datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks and data security protocols
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Strong written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
