The Role:
You will be the technical backbone for our federal clients, handling complex IT challenges with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that government systems remain secure, operational, and up-to-date with the latest technological standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for federal agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure via remote access tools.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and VPN connections for remote users.
- Enforce federal security compliance standards, including IRIS and NIST guidelines, to protect sensitive data.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in the Service Desk ticketing system.
- Respond to critical incidents with urgency, ensuring minimal downtime for federal operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Secret clearance (or equivalent).
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote client interactions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strict adherence to security protocols.
