Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows Server environments and virtualization technologies.
- Monitor system performance, security logs, and network traffic to ensure 99.9% uptime and data integrity.
- Implement and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Conduct regular system audits and backups to mitigate risk and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, Microsoft Office Suite, and enterprise ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
