Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the integrity and security of federal network infrastructure during night operations.
- Perform server maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (NIST, FISMA) and internal security protocols.
- Document system configurations, network topology, and incident reports.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to resolve complex technical escalations.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment and firewalls.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
