Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement and monitor security patches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems to protect federal data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Document system configurations, incidents, and changes in accordance with federal documentation standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Provide technical support and training to junior staff and government personnel.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration within a federal or defense contractor environment.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes.
- US Citizenship is mandatory for this role.
