Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and hardware upgrades for federal servers and workstations during weekend shifts.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex IT issues reported by federal staff with minimal downtime, ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.
- Security Compliance: Monitor system logs for anomalies, enforce security policies, and support audits for government accreditation.
- Network Support: Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, VPNs, and secure communication channels.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, incident reports, and change management logs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+, Network+, or CISSP is highly desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience supporting federal or government clients.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required; willingness to undergo a background investigation is mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
