Responsibilities
- Manage and administer federal pension plans and retirement benefits for employees.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to ensure accurate benefit calculations.
- Assist in the resolution of complex pension inquiries and claims.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal laws, regulations, and agency policies regarding retirement plans.
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments to update personnel records and benefit information.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee financial data.
- Participate in internal audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required for most federal positions.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in finance, human resources, or pension administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and financial documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and federal HR systems.
