As a Federal Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the logistics chain, ensuring that federal facilities receive the supplies they need efficiently and securely.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage inventory levels for federal facilities, ensuring accurate stock counts and timely replenishment of supplies.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving operations, including loading/unloading trucks, verifying documentation, and managing freight.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials to maintain strict federal compliance standards.
- Communicate effectively with federal clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delays, or logistical issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment in adherence to OSHA safety protocols and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports regarding inventory usage and logistics performance metrics.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or federal contracting environment is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and security clearance process (or willingness to undergo one).
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
