As a night shift analyst, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and securing our federal clients' networks around the clock. We pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of operational security and are looking for individuals who thrive in a disciplined, mission-critical setting.
Responsibilities
- 24/7 Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic, security alerts, and SIEM systems to identify and respond to potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Execute incident response plans to contain, investigate, and remediate security breaches and unauthorized access attempts.
- Network Defense: Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems to safeguard sensitive federal data.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure system integrity and compliance with federal standards (NIST, DISA).
- Compliance Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of security events, logs, and audit trails to meet strict federal compliance requirements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with federal program managers and other technical teams to provide timely briefings on security posture and incident status.
Qualifications
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required (US Citizenship).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, information assurance, or a related federal IT role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and experience with Linux/Windows administration.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (12-hour shifts) on a full-time basis.
