Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain federal IT infrastructure and networks during off-hours to ensure 24/7 system availability and security.
- Provide Level 3 technical troubleshooting and incident management for government personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, compliance standards (FISMA, NIST), and ITIL best practices.
- Document all incident reports, resolutions, and system changes accurately in the Service Management database.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Day Shift teams to hand over critical alerts and pending tickets to ensure zero downtime.
- Conduct routine security patches and maintenance tasks without disrupting agency operations.
- Respond to emergency tickets and system outages with urgency and precision.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret or Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience (4+ years).
- Proven experience working in Federal, State, or Local government IT environments.
- Availability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) as required by contract.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
