Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate surveillance systems, security cameras, and alarm networks to ensure facility safety and compliance.
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises, equipment, and access points to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Process incoming communications and data entries with 100% accuracy, adhering to strict federal documentation standards.
- Respond immediately and effectively to emergency alarms, distress calls, and security breaches.
- Prepare detailed shift logs and incident reports, ensuring all documentation is submitted on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure working environment in accordance with OSHA and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for federal employment.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (3rd Shift) including weekends and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in security operations, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use specialized monitoring software.
- Background Check: Must pass a thorough background investigation and drug screening.
