Responsibilities
- Conduct perimeter patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Operate advanced security systems including biometric scanners and CCTV monitoring
- Respond to security incidents and coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports and security logs using federal compliance software
- Conduct access control procedures for personnel and vehicles during night operations
- Participate in emergency response drills and security threat assessments
- Collaborate with day-shift personnel for seamless security continuity
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- Proficiency with security technology systems (access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring)
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to emergencies in all weather conditions
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
