Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly perimeter patrols and access control at federal installations
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts within 5 minutes
- Perform detailed incident reporting and documentation using federal systems
- Coordinate with federal law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance of security infrastructure
- Enforce federal security protocols and procedures with zero tolerance violations
- Maintain continuous communication with command center during shift
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and access control technology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision overnight
- Pass federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- Physical readiness for standing/walking 8+ hours nightly
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (preferred)
