Responsibilities
- Monitor facility surveillance systems and respond to security alerts during night shift hours
- Conduct routine patrols and access control procedures for federal property
- Document security incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Operate security equipment including metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and communication systems
- Enforce federal security protocols and safety regulations
- Provide assistance to visitors and staff during non-standard hours
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently during night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
