Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS programs
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 99.9% accuracy
- Conduct compliance audits and regulatory reporting for EBSA
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees on retirement planning
- Coordinate with OPM and SSA for interagency benefit coordination
- Develop educational materials on pension optimization strategies
- Manage retirement transition workshops for pre-retirement employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- ERISA and federal retirement regulations certification (CEBS or CERP preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in benefits administration software (e.g., Workday, ADP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in financial calculations
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
