Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and OPM regulations
- Process retirement claims and disbursements with 99% accuracy
- Conduct benefit eligibility reviews and financial calculations
- Respond to participant inquiries via phone/email within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on plan modifications
- Generate monthly reports on fund performance and participant trends
- Audit plan documentation and rectify compliance gaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension/benefits administration experience
- Proficiency in HR/Pension systems (e.g., SAP HR, Oracle HCM)
- Familiarity with federal retirement systems (TSP, FERS)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Federal background investigation clearance eligibility
