Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS systems with precision
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations for federal employees
- Ensure strict adherence to OPM regulations and IRS compliance standards
- Conduct pension audits and resolve complex benefit discrepancies
- Develop educational materials for federal employees on retirement planning
- Collaborate with HR departments across Texas and Ohio offices
- Manage pension data using federal systems like HRIS and PRIME
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years experience in pension administration or federal benefits
- Certified Federal Benefits Consultant (CFBC) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS/CSRS/TSP)
- Proficiency with federal HR systems and pension software
- Ability to interpret complex federal regulations (5 CFR Parts 841, 842)
- Strong analytical skills for benefit calculations and audits
- Clearances required: Public Trust and Moderate Risk
