Job Description
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Federal Pension Plan Administrator to join our growing team in Denver, CO. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the administration, compliance, and strategic management of federal retirement plans, ensuring that beneficiaries receive accurate and timely benefits while adhering to strict ERISA regulations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration of federal pension plans, ensuring accurate calculation and distribution of benefits to retirees.
- Ensure full compliance with ERISA, FERS, and other relevant federal retirement statutes and regulations.
- Conduct regular audits of pension records and data integrity checks to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy.
- Communicate complex pension information to federal employees and retirees, providing clear and empathetic guidance.
- Collaborate with actuaries to project funding needs and ensure long-term plan sustainability.
- Manage documentation for plan amendments and updates to federal regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in pension administration, benefits management, or actuarial science.
- Strong working knowledge of ERISA regulations, FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System), and CSRS (Civil Service Retirement System).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in retirement plan administration software (e.g., Empower, Buck, or similar platforms).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory documents and translate them into actionable business processes.
