Responsibilities
- Manage federal pension plan enrollment, contributions, and disbursement processes
- Ensure strict adherence to OPM, IRS, and ERISA regulations
- Conduct complex retirement benefit calculations and projections
- Develop and implement pension plan optimization strategies
- Provide expert guidance to federal employees on retirement planning
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on pension-related initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Strong knowledge of federal retirement systems (FERS, CSRS)
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., UltiPro, Workday)
- Series 7 and/or Series 63 securities licenses (highly desirable)
- Expertise in ERISA and IRS pension regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
