Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring compliance with OPM and ERISA regulations
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and disbursements with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct complex pension audits and financial risk assessments
- Develop retirement education materials and conduct employee workshops
- Collaborate with IRS, SSA, and Treasury on pension-related matters
- Implement pension policy updates and procedural improvements
- Manage pension fund investments and actuarial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years pension administration experience with federal/multi-employer plans
- SPHR, CEBS, or QKA certification required
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, TCC, and federal retirement regulations
- Advanced proficiency in pension software (e.g., Millennium, NaviPlan)
- Strong analytical skills for complex benefit calculations
