Responsibilities
- Manage federal pension plan administration including TSP, FERS, and CSRS systems
- Ensure compliance with OPM regulations and ERISA requirements
- Process retirement applications and benefit calculations with 100% accuracy
- Conduct benefit counseling sessions for pre-retirement employees
- Develop and maintain comprehensive pension documentation
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on pension-related projects
- Prepare quarterly reports for OPM oversight and internal audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., CBP, CFP) or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of FERS/CSRS regulations and TSP procedures
- Proficiency in federal HR systems like NFC or HRIS
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for complex benefit explanations
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
