- Process retirement claims and benefit calculations within strict SLAs
- Conduct comprehensive audits of pension fund disbursements
- Develop educational materials for pre-retirement counseling sessions
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee retirement planning
- Manage pension system data integrity and security protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in pension administration or benefits management
- Federal HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) or equivalent
- Proficiency in federal pension systems (e.g., PRIME, NEHRP)
- Expert knowledge of OPM regulations and retirement legislation
- Strong analytical skills for complex benefit calculations
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
