Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans ensuring strict ERISA compliance
- Process retirement claims and benefit distributions with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct quarterly plan audits and regulatory gap analysis
- Develop educational materials for pre-retirement counseling sessions
- Collaborate with OPM on policy updates and implementation
- Manage pension database systems and reporting dashboards
- Respond to congressional inquiries and FOIA requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 5+ years pension administration experience
- Active Federal Benefits Certification (FBC) or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in FedPension and HRConnect systems
- Deep knowledge of CSRS/FERS regulations
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
