Responsibilities
- Manage and process federal pension plan enrollment, adjustments, and retirement distributions
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations (ERISA, OPM guidelines)
- Respond to complex pension inquiries from federal employees and agencies
- Conduct benefit audits and compliance reviews for pension portfolios
- Collaborate with finance teams on quarterly reporting and forecasting
- Maintain accurate digital records using FedPension system
- Train federal employees on retirement planning tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years experience in pension/benefits administration
- Federal ERISA compliance certification (CEBS preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and pension management software
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (7PM-7AM)
- Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
