Responsibilities
- Analyze and process federal pension applications (FERS/CSRS) with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct pension calculations and ensure compliance with all federal retirement regulations and statutes.
- Review retirement claims for discrepancies and resolve complex issues regarding survivor benefits and disability pensions.
- Provide clear, concise guidance to federal employees regarding their pension eligibility and vesting schedules.
- Manage sensitive data entry and maintain precise records for audit compliance.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless workflow transitions during shift handovers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pension administration, benefits processing, or federal government operations.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) and Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to specific cases.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a Night Shift environment while maintaining high productivity.
