Responsibilities
- Process and verify federal pension applications and retirement requests with high accuracy.
- Review employment records and calculate pension benefits in accordance with federal regulations.
- Provide clear, courteous, and accurate information to federal retirees and beneficiaries regarding their pension plans.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial data.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies in payroll and retirement records.
- Update and maintain accurate documentation in our pension management systems.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly pension reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, retirement planning, or federal benefits processing.
- Strong knowledge of federal retirement systems (e.g., FERS, CSRS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to specific cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries with patience and professionalism.
- Ability to pass a background check and security clearance if required.
