Responsibilities
- Review and process federal pension applications and retirement claims with high accuracy.
- Conduct data analysis to ensure compliance with federal regulations and pension plan structures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to federal employees regarding retirement eligibility and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR departments in Virginia and Ohio to resolve complex pension discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of pension contributions and beneficiary designations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience with FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) or CSRS (Civil Service Retirement System) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in complex data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and security clearance.
