What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension applications and benefit claims with high accuracy.
- Review and reconcile federal retirement records and payroll data.
- Respond to inquiries from federal employees and retirees regarding pension eligibility and processing timelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the HR team to resolve complex benefit discrepancies.
- Maintain secure and organized filing systems for sensitive financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pension administration, retirement planning, or federal benefits processing.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and database management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect errors in large datasets.
- Ability to work a weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday) with reliability.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a standard background investigation.
