Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging policy trends and draft comprehensive legislative recommendations
- Collaborate with interagency task forces to develop emergency response protocols
- Conduct quantitative research using government databases and statistical models
- Present findings to congressional committees and senior leadership
- Oversee implementation of regulatory compliance programs
- Manage cross-functional projects with budget oversight up to $2M
- Represent the agency at national conferences and stakeholder forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years federal government or policy analysis experience
- Expertise in homeland security frameworks and emergency management systems
- Proficiency with statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Demonstrated experience with federal grant writing and budget processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
