Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and regulations impacting veteran healthcare programs
- Develop policy briefs and recommendations for senior leadership
- Coordinate with congressional offices and stakeholder organizations
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on veteran needs
- Present findings at interagency meetings and public forums
- Monitor implementation effectiveness of existing policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years federal policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Knowledge of VA healthcare systems and regulations
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
