Responsibilities
- Review and process veterans' disability compensation claims with 95% accuracy
- Analyze medical records and supporting documentation for claim eligibility
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and their representatives
- Maintain detailed case records in federal databases (VBMS, VBA)
- Collaborate with medical professionals and legal advisors on complex cases
- Adhere to strict federal timelines and privacy regulations (HIPAA, FOIA)
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Associate degree in healthcare administration, paralegal studies, or related field
- 2+ years experience in claims processing or veterans services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal claims systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
