Responsibilities
- Process and manage confidential documents with strict adherence to federal protocols
- Provide administrative support to department heads including scheduling, correspondence, and record maintenance
- Assist with data entry, file management, and document preparation using federal systems
- Coordinate internal communications and scheduling for team meetings and training sessions
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes for office supplies and equipment
- Respond to public inquiries with professionalism and knowledge of departmental procedures
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership review
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required for federal employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
