Responsibilities
- Analyze federal legislation and policies affecting veteran healthcare systems
- Develop strategic recommendations for program improvements
- Coordinate with congressional offices and veteran advocacy groups
- Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Manage cross-agency initiatives supporting veteran transition services
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative policy impact assessments
- Mentor junior analysts on federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years federal government or policy analysis experience
- Proficiency in federal grant administration and compliance
- Expertise in veteran service programs and healthcare regulations
- Strong quantitative research and statistical analysis skills
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with federal budget formulation processes
