Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal regulations and ensure strict compliance with OPM (Office of Personnel Management) guidelines and agency-specific policies.
- Prepare and review policy briefs, memos, and recommendations for senior leadership to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct thorough research on legislative changes and their potential impact on current federal operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal and compliance departments, to mitigate risk and improve workflow.
- Manage and update internal documentation to reflect the latest federal standards and procedural updates.
- Assist in the development of training materials for new federal employees regarding compliance and policy adherence.
- Monitor federal budget proposals and assist in the allocation of resources for specific program initiatives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- US Citizenship is required for federal roles.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal government, policy analysis, or public administration.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and government contracting regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal jargon.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with federal case management software (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary security clearance.
