Responsibilities
- Analyze federal and state legislation to determine impact on local government operations.
- Manage and coordinate the submission of federal grant applications and reporting requirements.
- Conduct compliance audits and ensure adherence to federal regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed briefings and reports for senior stakeholders and federal agencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline federal procurement processes.
- Maintain accurate records of project milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or state government contracting.
- Ability to obtain or possess a Federal Security Clearance.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific databases (e.g., ELM, iCAP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is a plus.
