Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily operations of federal grant programs to ensure strict adherence to federal compliance standards and regulations.
- Prepare, review, and submit complex federal reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to oversight agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of employee pension contributions and eligibility, ensuring full compliance with Department of Labor standards.
- Coordinate with federal stakeholders and internal teams to identify process improvements and optimize program performance.
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential compliance issues before they arise.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on federal policy updates and procedural changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working directly with federal government agencies or contractors.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal pension plans and retirement eligibility requirements.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance laws, including OMB Circulars and FAR regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex regulatory information clearly.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret/Top Secret) as required.
