Responsibilities
- Manage federal environmental compliance programs across Northern California
- Develop and implement strategic project plans with $5M+ budgets
- Coordinate with state agencies, tribal governments, and stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (NEPA, ESA, CWA)
- Lead cross-functional teams of specialists and contractors
- Prepare detailed reports for congressional oversight committees
- Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years federal program management experience
- GS-11 or equivalent federal pay grade status
- Knowledge of federal procurement and grant management
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance
- Proficiency in federal budgeting and reporting systems
- Strong stakeholder communication and conflict resolution skills
