Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program strategies for homeland security initiatives in Illinois

- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation protocols
- Represent the agency at regional security briefings and public forums
- Maintain strict adherence to federal regulations and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in government program management
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., GAINS, SAM.gov)
- Strong analytical skills with policy development experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of homeland security frameworks and FEMA protocols
