Responsibilities
- Design and implement federal healthcare programs for veterans in North Carolina
- Analyze policy impacts and prepare compliance reports for federal agencies
- Coordinate with local VA facilities and community partners
- Manage grant allocations and budget oversight for veteran services
- Conduct program evaluations and recommend operational improvements
- Represent the VA at community outreach events and stakeholder meetings
- Maintain strict adherence to federal procurement and financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of federal program management experience
- Proficiency in federal grant management systems (e.g., eRA Commons)
- Knowledge of VA regulations and veteran service programs
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Experience with stakeholder collaboration across government agencies
