Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal program compliance frameworks across New Mexico
- Analyze veteran service data to optimize resource allocation and program efficacy
- Collaborate with state/local agencies on joint initiatives for veteran outreach
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for congressional stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely program deliverables
- Conduct policy impact assessments for proposed federal regulations
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for veteran crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal program management experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Proficiency with federal grant management systems (e.g., GSA SAM.gov)
- Knowledge of Veterans Affairs regulations (38 CFR)
- Advanced data analysis skills (SQL, Tableau)
- Experience with cross-agency collaboration frameworks
- FEMA certification or emergency management training
